With over 25 years in pharmacy, including over 15 years of pharmacy benefit management experience, Jason Peterson, Senior Manager of Clinical Strategy, is a key member of Navion’s clinical team.
Years of experience acquired in various roles at Pharmacy Benefit Management companies and health plans have given Jason invaluable tools to lead clinical programs focused on healthcare benefits. In previous roles, Jason was able to leverage his extensive knowledge of pharmacy and medical claims by leading programs focused on disease management, identification of gaps in care as well as HEDIS and STARS quality measures.
Jason is also passionate about fraud, waste and abuse and has led multiple initiatives involving claims auditing. He has led multiple P&T Committees and leveraged his intimate knowledge of prior authorization operations and clinical policy development to lead multiple clinical programs.
Jason’s experience is leveraged in spend and trend analysis of both pharmacy and medical benefit cost of care to identify opportunities for enhanced clinical effectiveness and savings for groups and their members.
